Until the other week, Ramy Yasso was a convicted Vanier crack dealer.
He now has a new lease on life after an Ontario Superior Court justice tossed out his drug-trafficking conviction.
Justice Gary Tranmer ruled that a police undercover buy of $60 in crack amounted to entrapment in law because officers gave Yasso an opportunity to commit the crime without any reasonable suspicion that he was already engaged in drug trafficking.
